· All the students/teachers entering the Library shall keep their bags and other personal belongings at the entrance. · ID Card should be compulsory for entering into the library. · All the students/teachers will first sign in the log register at the checkpoint, before being allowed to approach Circulation Counter. · All the students/teachers entering the library after singing the log register, login into the system by entering your UUCMS number and teachers by their KGID number. · Before leaving the library after using students/teachers needs to log out in the system giving their feedback using their UUCMS number and KGID number respectively · All the readers are advised not to leave their valuables at the Check Point. · Library is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings. · Only notebooks and the library books will be allowed inside. · Books Borrowed should be protected from RAIN, DUST, INSECT, etc. · Books removed from the shelves, if not required further, should be kept on the table nearest to them. Please do not try to shelve them yourself. Please remember that a book misplaced is a book lost. · Readers should not deface, mark, cut, mutilate or damage library resources in any way. If anyone is found doing so, he/she will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource. · All UG students are allowed to borrow 2,3, books and PG students are allowed to borrow 4 books for a period of 15 days. · Teachers are allowed to borrow 15 books for a period of 90 days. · Students, Teachers, Guest faculty going on transfer, long leaves like deputation, study leave will have to return all borrowed material before leaving. · Students has to take NO DUE CERTIFICATE from library for getting mark card, TC from the office. · All the students who want to return the books issued on their names are advised to wait until the books are shown as returned against their names. · Students are advised not to issue Books to others on their names. Reference Documents like Dictionary, Encyclopedia, Year Books, Journals Magazines, Handbooks and books costing more than Rs. 500/-will not be issued out. · Borrowers must replace the library material with same or latest edition. In case of non-availability of material, then the double cost of the actual cost of the book will be recovered by the borrower. · Conversation and discussion disturbs library ambience. Therefore, all are requested to maintain dignified silence. · All users are requested to keep their mobiles in silent mode. · Beverages and Eatables are not allowed inside the library. · No visitor or guest is permitted to use the Library without Librarian permission. · The Library reserves the right to call back any issued book/item at any time.
